Red and Black Split Background

 

These pictures really don't do this painting justice.  The colors on this one are so vibrant.  As the background is red and black, I wanted the pouring colors to be quite different.  The end result, as you can see, is quite stunning.  The contrast on this is great.

This is a 11x14 stretched canvas.

The colors used were Black, Red, Mandarin Pearl, Navy Metallic, Plum Metallic, and Metallic White.

This painting was created using the Dutch pour technique.  All of my paints are mixed with pouring medium. This painting is varnished with acrylic varnish.
