Alcohol Ink Backgrounds

 

I think alcohol ink backgrounds might be a new obsession.  They remind me of my fluid art paintings.  

These were done with various colors of alcohol ink on vellum.  After it was dry, I attached it to white cardstock.  These were cut to fit on a 4.5 x 5.5 card base.

I used a die to cut out the pretty flower from black and white cardstock and then used glue to attach it to the front of the card.  A birthday sentiment was stamped on matching cardstock, layered and then adhered to the front with dimensional tape.

These turned out so pretty!
